From here you can see the uneven development that characterizes Kuala Lumpur. Simple houses, small run-down commercial buildings and apartments, and giant skyscrapers mix haphazardly all the way to the horizon.

I took this photo from the Skybridge that connects the Petronas Tower buildings. Visiting the bridge is free, but requires a ticket that has to be collected a few hours in advance. There's a quick spiel from a guide, then about 15 minutes in the bridge, then everyone's whisked back down the elevator as the next batch of tourists arrives.
