Beneath this traffic light, three or four cotton candy vendors were running at full speed. Rather than cutting off the motor between sales, they were selling so fast they just left it running while they took money and prepared the next stick. So, for a few seconds each time, cotton candy flew into the air, slow-moving sugary wisps that eventually settled on everything nearby - bushes, signs, cars, hair - until sweet-toothed cheapskates plucked them off. |
