This is the view from the rooftop of our hotel, the Hotel du Cascade, which we picked because it's one of the only ones in the labyrinthine old city blessed with hot water (important on a January trip). The roof is a relaxing place to sit and read or enjoy a snack. Just look where you're going, because there's no guard rail.
