Every evening, Chinatown - centered around the intersection of Jalan Petaling and Jalan Hang Lekir - transforms from non-descript commercial zone into a bustling night market. Restaurants that are hard to notice in the daytime spill tables and chairs out into the streets, and draw the eye with flashing signs and Chinese lanterns.
Some of the food here is okay, but these places cater to foreign tourists, so the cuisine is dumbed down and the quality isn't that great. Still better than almost anything found outside of Malaysia though; it's a totally different scale. |
